Wooden boards first appeared, and later they were artificially composited into wood plywood, and wood boards were widely used. The new century advocates ecological protection, and the application of wood is limited. The development of wood-section and wood-substituting materials has become the development direction.
Stone has been used as decorative panels for a long time. It has the advantages of easy mining and processing, but its own shortcomings are obvious. It is bulky and difficult to handle, and it is inconvenient to install and disassemble. The larger the project, the higher the floor, the more difficult it is. Special-shaped board, the remedy is more troublesome. Therefore, design and construction units are often reluctant to choose. From an environmental point of view, a large amount of stone is detrimental to the environment. In many areas, indiscriminate mining has destroyed vegetation in mining areas, causing landslides and mudslides. Therefore, the development of stone substitute materials has become an objective need.
Aluminum veneer is simple to make and widely used, but it lacks rigidity and consumes a lot of money. Generally, the thickness of the inner wall panel is ≥2mm; the thickness of the outer wall panel is ≥2.5mm, which is heavy and expensive, which is not conducive to saving.
The aluminum-plastic panel is composed of surface aluminum, bottom aluminum and plastic core material, which greatly reduces the amount of aluminum material. However, its own weight still needs to be reduced, and the rigidity, flatness and bearing capacity are not satisfactory.
In order to make up for the above shortcomings, people were inspired by natural creatures, using the principle of honeycomb structure, and sandwiching a honeycomb core made of aluminum foil between two layers of aluminum plates to make an aluminum honeycomb panel, realizing a leap in the evolution of the plate.
