1.Look at the hardness

2. Look at the surface

Genuine quartz stone has a smooth appearance, soft touch, even distribution of particles on the surface, and small particles are relatively clear. Fake quartz stone feels a bit like plastic to the touch, with uneven particle distribution on the surface.
3. Look at the thickness
There are only four thicknesses of real quartz stone, which are 15, 18, 20 and 30mm. The thicker the thickness of the quartz stone, the stronger the bearing capacity and the higher the price. And those "quartz stones" with a thickness of 10-13mm on the market, don't even think about them, they must be fake.
4. Use white vinegar
Drop white vinegar or alkaline water on the surface of the quartz stone and wait for a few minutes to see if there is a reaction. Generally speaking, a good quartz stone will not react to white vinegar and alkaline water, and it will be clean by wiping lightly. The poor quartz stone will react to white vinegar and even bubble. If the store does not dare to let you drip white vinegar on the quartz stone, be careful, most of the products they sell are defective.
5. Burn with fire
Directly use a lighter to burn the surface of the quartz stone, and the good quartz stone will not be damaged at all, because the quartz stone can withstand a high temperature of 300 degrees. The poor quartz stone will produce a pungent odor when it is burned, and it will even be burnt. Who would dare to use such a quartz stone that burns when it encounters an open flame in the kitchen?
6. Use a marker
The real quartz stone has good stain resistance, even if you draw on it with a marker, you can easily wipe it off with paper. The poor quartz stone stains will stay on it, it is difficult to wipe, and the stains may penetrate into the interior.
Good quartz stone has the advantages of high hardness, good stain resistance and high temperature resistance. Even if you use a key to swipe, use a lighter to burn, and drip white vinegar will not have any effect.
